Miles Painter is a former educator with experience teaching in the classroom, developing curriculum, and supporting educational research studies. He has been a student at various points in life and knows firsthand the challenges and struggles of learning to study.

Raised in St. Louis, he currently lives in the Washington D.C. area with his wife and two kids. Beyond writing about studying, Miles has a day job in finance and enjoys cooking.
